The Malta Tourism Authority is pleased to announce that the first edition of the European Divers Meeting Malta & Gozo, which took place between June 5 th -9 th 2017, was a huge success.
This extraordinary diving event was a joint initiative the Malta Tourism Authority, the Ministry of Gozo, leading European diving portal Taucher.Net, and The Professional Diving Schools Association (PDSA) and was strongly supported by various Maltese and Gozitan dive centres.

The three islands of Malta, Gozo and Comino form a very special diving area in the Mediterranean - just a few hours’ flight from most European cities. Beginners and experienced divers alike can look forward to perfect conditions here. With their natural harbours, open, yet protected bays, cliffs, rocky reefs and numerous wrecks, these islands simply invite you to go on an exciting voyage of discovery underwater. Although most of the diving spots are only a stone’s throw apart, divers have the opportunity to explore completely different underwater worlds here. Out of the water, the islands score really highly with 7000 years of fascinating culture and history, countless events, sporting options such as walking, mountain biking and climbing, as well as many culinary delights.
